Step by step, from choosing a wallet to secure storage

01. Select wallet

You decide whether you want to use a mobile, desktop, browser, or hardware wallet and check whether it has a good reputation, transparent operators, and active further development. Our support only helps with soft wallets (e.g., Metamask)!


Only download software and soft wallets directly from the provider. Always enter the Internet address yourself! Never use links sent to you by email, or displayed in your browser history or on websites!

02. Set up wallet

Install or open the wallet software, create a new wallet, and follow the setup process step by step. Make sure you use a strong password, secure devices (up-to-date operating system, virus protection, no open Wi-Fi), and that no one is looking over your shoulder.


Use all important security features:

  • Backup options
  • encryption
  • Optional 2FA (two-factor authentication)
  • Self-custody (control over your keys)

03. Secure access (seed/recovery phrase)

The seed phrase (recovery phrase) is the "master key" to your wallet – Anyone who knows it can completely control your coins!

Write down the seed phrase in full and in the correct order on paper or on a special metal backup device, never in a note-taking app, cloud, email, chat, or as a photo.

04. Buy coins

Always purchase coins through a reputable trading platform, broker, direct purchase service, or an integrated purchase feature in your wallet.

Pay attention to fees, payment methods, security (e.g., 2FA with the provider), and avoid fraudulent sites by only using official URLs or apps that you enter yourself.

 

Since the HYM token is not yet traded on the stock exchange, it is only available exclusively in our shop!

05. Transfer coins

Carefully copy your own wallet address, paste it when sending the coins, and check the first and last characters of the address before confirming. Start with a small test amount to make sure that the address, network, and everything else is correct before sending larger sums.

06. Check input

Wait until the transaction is confirmed on the network and check your wallet or a blockchain explorer to see if the amount has been received correctly. Make sure you use the correct blockchain/explorer and note the transaction ID (hash) so that you can track the transaction later.

07. Keep your coins safe

For longer-term storage, use the most secure solutions possible, such as hardware wallets or a properly secured software wallet with a good backup strategy. Regularly check the security of your devices, change passwords if necessary, update software, and ensure that no one can gain access to your wallet or backups without your knowledge.

  • Do you already have a crypto wallet? Then have your wallet address ready and click HERE or on one of the green buttons on the website to enter the shop. Your wallet address will be requested during the ordering process in the "Ethereum address" field.

    To import your purchased tokens into MetaMask, please follow these steps.  
    1. Log in to MetaMask

    2. Select "Import Tokens"
    3. Select "Custom Token."
    4. Enter the following address: 0xC71DC551f32C694F47A8f0D6B8A49EE9Ddcbc62F
    5. HYM will become visible and the decimal places of the token will be "2".

    6. Please click "Continue" and you are done

Write down the seed phrase in full and in the correct order on paper or on a special metal backup, never in a note-taking app, cloud, email, chat, or as a photo.

    Create multiple physical copies and store them in different secure locations (e.g., separate safe, bank deposit box) to better protect yourself against fire, water damage, or theft.

    Never share your seed phrase with anyone—not even with supposed support, "competitions," friends, or family members, unless you are deliberately arranging an inheritance and documenting it securely.

    Never enter them on websites, except when restoring a wallet in an official app that you have installed yourself; pop-ups, links in emails, or social media messages are almost always attempts at fraud.

    After writing it down, take a moment to check that all the words are correct and legible, and keep the note as if it contained your entire wallet—because that's exactly what it is.
